Chicken Karahi Restaurant Style | Chicken Karahi | Easy Chicken Karahi Recipe | Chicken Karahi Recipe | Peshawari Chicken Karahi | Chicken Kadai Recipe | Chicken Karahi Recipe by Spice Eats Ingredients for Chicken Karahi: (Tsp- Teaspoon; Tbsp- Tablespoon ) Chicken - 500 gms (small curry cut pieces with bones) For frying chicken: - Salt- 1 tsp - Red Chilli Powder- 1 tsp - Pepper Powder- 1/4 tsp - 4 tbsp oil Spice Powders: - Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp - Black Pepper Powder- 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 tsp Other Ingredients:- - Ginger Garlic paste- 1.5 tsp - Onions, sliced-2 medium (150 gms) - Green Chillies, sliced- 3 - Coriander leaves fine chopped- 2 tbsp+ 2 tbsp for garnish - Red Tomatoes, sliced- 3 medium (around 200 gms ) - Salt - 1/4 tsp (while frying onion)+ a pinch to season at the end - Ginger julienned - 1 tbsp - Butter - 1 tbsp Preparation: - Wash and pat dry (or strain the water) the chicken pieces - Fine slice the onions and slice the red tomatoes. - Slice the green chillies, fine chop the coriander leaves and julienne the ginger. Process: - In a karahi, heat 4 tbsp oil and then add the chicken pieces. Also add the salt and spice powders specified while frying. Fry for 5 mins on high heat till browned. Now cover & cook on low heat for another 10 mins. - Remove from heat and set aside. - In the same oil add the sliced onions and fry on medium heat for 8-9 mins. Add 1/4 tsp salt while frying. Now add the ginger garlic paste and fry on low heat for 2 mins. - Add the spice powders & a splash of water and fry on low heat for 2 mins. - Now add the fried chicken pieces, sliced green chillies and fine chopped coriander leaves. Mix and sear for 2-3 mins till well combined and then add the sliced tomatoes. Add a pinch of salt. - Mix and fry for 2 mins. Now cover & cook on low heat for 10 mins - Add the ginger juliennes and chopped coriander leaves. Fry 2 mins on low heat. - Lastly add 1 tbsp butter. Chicken Karahi Written Recipe With Directions: Ingredients: -Chicken with Bone (Karahi cut) 1 Kg -Garlic, ginger, and green chilli (Lehsan, Adrak, hari mirch) paste 3 tbs -Tomatoes (Tamatar 4) -Onion paste (Piyaz paste) 1 medium -Red chilli (Lal mirch) powder ½ tbs -Turmeric (Haldi) Powder ¼ tbs -Salt (Namak) ½ tbs or to taste -Water (Pani) ½ cup -Dried Coriander (Khushk Dhania) powder 1.5 tbs -Cumin Seeds (Zeera) powder ½ tbs -Clarified Butter (Ghee) 30-40 gms -Yogurt ½ cup -Red chilli flakes (Koti lal mirch) ½ tsp -Black pepper (Kali mirch) powder ½ tsp -Green chilies (Hari mirch) Chopped 3-4 -Fresh Coriander (Hara Dhania) chopped -Ginger (Adrak) julienne for garnishing Directions: -In wok/karahi, add chicken, the paste of garlic, ginger and green chillies, and tomatoes (cut tomatoes into two halves). -Make onion puree in a blender; also add little water in the blender to keep the machine rolling. -Add the onion puree, red chilli powder, salt, and water in wok/karahi. Mix well, and now turn on the flame. -Cover the wok/karahi and rest it for 15 minutes on medium flame. -After 15 minutes, remove the cover and mix well. Remove tomato skin, then add dried Coriander powder, zeera powder, and clarified butter. -Turn the flame high, mix well continuously, and cook it for 3-4 minutes. -Now, on low flame, add yogurt. Wait until the water of the yogurt is dry. -On a low flame, cook it for 3-4 minutes. When the water of the yogurt is dry, then turn the flame high. -Now add red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, and green chillies on high flame and cook it for 1 more minute. -Turn off the flame and add fresh coriander and julienne ginger for garnishing. -Serve with hot Nan. Restaurant Style Kadai Chicken | Kadai Chicken Recipe | Kadai Chicken Restaurant Style | Kadai Chicken | Chicken Kadai | Kadai Chicken Masala Recipe | How to make Kadai Chicken | Chicken Recipe Ingredients for Kadai Chicken: - Chicken - 500 gms (curry cut with bones) Kadai Masala: - Coriander Seeds- 1.5 tsp - Cumin Seeds- 3/4 tsp - Fennel Seeds- 1/2 tsp - Whole Black Peppercorns- 1/2 tsp - Dried Red Chillies- 2 Whole Spices: - Cumin Seeds- 3/4 tsp - Whole Black Peppercorns- 8-10 - Dried Red Chillies- 2 (cut into 2) Spice Powders: - Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli Powder- 3/4 tsp - Coriander Powder- 1.5 tsp - Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 tsp Other Ingredients: - Onions, finely chopped- 2 medium (150 gms) - Ginger Garlic Paste- 2 tsp - Tomato Purée (readymade)- 5 tbsp - Onion petals- 1 medium onion (75gm) - Capsicum (Green Bell Pepper, cubed- 100 gms - Cashew paste- 10 cashew nuts - Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) roasted and powdered- 1 tbsp - Salt- 1 tsp - Oil- 3 tbsp Preparation: - Dry roast the whole spices on low heat for around 3 mins. Cool & grind to a coarse powder. - Finely chop 2 medium onions and cut 1 medium onion into petals. - Also cut 1 big capsicum/green pepper into big cubes. - Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the onion petals. Sauté on medium heat for a minute and then add the cubed capsicum/pepper. Mix and continue to sauté for another 2 mins. Remove these onto a plate and set aside for use later. - Dry roast the Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) and crush it with your hands. Process: - Take a pan and heat 3 tbsp of oil. - Add the cumin seeds and when it splutters, add the whole peppercorns and then the dried red chillies. - Give a stir and then add the chopped onions. Fry the onions for around 8-10 mins on medium heat till light brown. - Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins on low heat. - Now add the chicken pieces, fry on high heat for 5 mins. - Add the turmeric, red chilli, coriander powders and salt, mix well and fry for 2-3 mins on medium heat till the spices are cooked and oil separates. - Add the tomato purée, mix well and cook on medium heat for 2-3 mins. - Now add the Kadai Masala which was made in the blender earlier, mix and cook for 2 mins on low heat . - Mix and add 250 ml water, cover & cook for 10 mins on low heat. - Now add the cashew paste and the garam masala powder, give a mix and cook on low heat for 5 mins till oil separates. - Add the sautéed onion & capsicum, mix & cook on low heat for 2 mins. - Now sprinkle the roasted & powdered Kasuri Methi, mix and cook on low heat for 2 mins. - Garnish with chopped coriander leaves while serving. #restaurantstylekadaichicken #kadaichicken #kadaichickenrecipe #kadaichickenrestaurantstyle chickenkadai #kadaichickenmasala #chickenkarahirecipe #karahichicken #spiceeats #spiceeatsrecipes

Kadai Chicken Recipe | Kadai Chicken Restaurant Style | Kadai Chicken | Chicken Kadai | Kadai Chicken Masala Recipe | How to make Kadai Chicken | Chicken Recipe Ingredients: Chicken with bones- 750 gms Kadai Masala: - Coriander seeds- 3 tsp - Cumin seeds- 1 tsp - Fennel seeds- 1 tsp - Peppercorns- 1 tsp - Whole Red Chillies- 3 nos Whole spices: - Cumin seeds- 1 tsp - Coriander seeds- 1 tsp - Whole dried red chillies- 3 nos - Onions, finely chopped- 3 medium - Ginger garlic paste- 3 tsp - Fresh tomato purée-3 medium tomatoes - Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp - Coriander powder- 2 tsp - Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp - Whisked curd- 4 tbsp or 100 gms - Oil- 4 tbsp + 1 tbsp for sautéing - Onion petals- 1 medium onion - Capsicum cubed- 1 big - Salt- 1 tsp or to taste Preparation: - Take a pan & dry roast all the ingredients mentioned for Kadai Masala on low heat for 2-3 mins. Cool & rough grind the masala. Take out 4 tsp of this masala for the chicken. You can store the balance for future use. - Finely chop the 3 medium onions - Make a purée of the 3 medium tomatoes. - Cut 1 capsicum into cubes & 1 medium onions into petals. - Sauté the capsicum & onion petals in a pan, remove & set aside. Process: - Take a kadhai & heat 4 tbsp of oil. - Add the cumin seeds & when it splutters, add the whole Coriander seeds & red chilies. - Mix them once & then add the chopped onions. Sauté for around 8 mins on medium heat till the onions are light brown. - Now add the ginger garlic paste & fry for 2 mins till the raw smell is gone. Add the tomato purée & fry on high to medium for 2-3 mins till the purée is cooked. - Add the turmeric, Chilli powder, coriander powder & salt. - Mix well & fry for 2-3 mins till the masalas are cooked & oil separates. - Add the chicken pieces & fry on high for 5 mins mixing it well. - Continue to bhuno the chicken pieces on medium for another 5 mins so that they are browned & coated with the masala. - Now switch off heat & add the whisked curd. Mix it well & switch on heat. - Cook it for 4 mins till the curd is cooked. - Now add 4 tsp of the Kadai Masala, mix & fry for 2 mins. - Add 1/2 cup of water, cover & cook for 10 mins till chicken is soft. - Add the sautéed onion & capsicum. Written recipe for Kadhai chicken Prep time: 30 mins Cooking time: 45 mins Serves: 6 For kadhai masala Ingredients: • Whole spices: 1. Dry red chillies 2-3 nos. 2. Coriander seeds 1 tbsp 3. Black peppercorns 1 tbsp 4. Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tbsp 5. Jeera (cumin seeds) 1 tbsp Method: • Set a pan on medium heat, add the whole spices and roast it for 2-3 minutes or until aroma is released, transfer to a grinding jar grind them to a fine powder. Your kadhai masala is ready store them in an airtight container. For chicken kadhai Ingredients: • Chicken 750 gm • Salt to taste • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp • Red chilli powder 1 tsp • Ghee / oil 4 tbsp • Garlic 4-5 cloves (crushed) • Ginger 1 inch (juliennes) • Powdered spices: 1. Turmeric powder ½ tsp 2. Coriander powder 1 tbsp 3. Jeera powder 1 tsp 4. Red chilli powder 2 tsp • Freshly prepared Kadhai masala 1 tbsp • Tomatoes 3-4 medium size (chopped) • Salt to taste • Hot water 200 ml • Curd ½ cup (whisked) • Fresh cream 2 tbsp • Garam masala 1 tsp • Capsicum 1 medium size (diced) • Onions 1 medium size (diced) • Green chillies 1-2 nos. (slit) • Fresh coriander leaves 1 tbsp (chopped) Methods: • Add the chicken in a mixing bowl, further add salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilli powder, mix well and marinate it for 15 minutes. • Set a pan on medium heat, add ghee / oil and add the marinated chicken, cook it for 10-12 minutes and further cook it for 7-8 minutes while stirring in intervals, keeping the flame low. • Add crushed garlic, ginger, powdered spices and freshly prepared Kadhai masala, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. • Add tomatoes and salt, stir and cook for 3-4 minutes, add hot water to make thick gravy, you adjust the consistency of the gravy by adding water, mix and bring to a boil. Cover and cook until tomatoes are nicely incorporated into the gravy. • Low down the heat and add the curd to the gravy and keep stirring as soon as you add the curd. Stir and cook until the oil/ ghee is separate. • Add fresh cream and garam masala, stir gently and cook for 2-3 minutes. • Add capsicum, onions, green chillies and fresh coriander, stir gently and cook for 2 minutes. • Your kadhai chicken is ready to be served, serve it hot with naan, roti or laccha paratha of your choice. Cool & grind to a coarse powder. Step 2: Finely chop 2 medium onions and cut 2 medium onion and capsicum/green pepper into petals. Step 3 : Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the onion petals. Sauté on medium heat for 3 minute and then add the green capsicum/bell pepper. Mix and continue to sauté for another 5 mins. Remove these onto a plate and set aside for use later. Step 4 : Dry roast the Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) and crush it with your hands. Process: Step 1 : Heat ghee in a pan/wok, over a low flame, when the ghee turns hot, add finely chopped onions and fry till they turn translucent over a medium fame, add ginger and garlic paste, cook until it changes color to little brownish golden. Step 2 : Add tomato puree, sauté till its raw smell is gone. Next, add sugar, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder, cook all the ingredients patiently till a nice aroma reaches your nose and all the masala and ingredients are mixed & fried properly. Step 3 : Add the marinated chicken pieces, coat well with the gravy. Pour in the rest of the marinade. Mix well. Cover & Cook over medium flame 7-8 minutes. Step 4 : Pour cashew nut paste and Kadai masala (prepared earlier), garam masala powder. Mix well. Add hot water 250 ml. Simmer over high flame 5 minutes/ Step 5 : Pour Fresh cream and sprinkle (crushed & roasted) dried fenugreek leaves. Add the sautéed onion & capsicum, mix & cook on low heat for 2 mins. Cook till the gravy thickens and reaches to your desired consistency. Step 6 : Garnish with green chilies. Mix well to serve with rice, roti or naan. Add tomato paste (already prepared) mix well and cover. When chicken is tender and gravy is formed, add crushed cumin, coriander powder, ginger, dried fenugreek, and green chili. Mix well and cover for 5 minutes. For koila dum, take a shell of onion place in karhai. Heat a piece of coal and place burning coal on onion shell. Drop few drops of oil on coal and cover for 5-7 minutes. Koila Karhai with beautiful aroma of coal is ready to serve. Adrak, zeera, dhaniya powder, kasoori methi aur hari mirch dal kar mix Karen - Hari mirch shamil karlen. Achi tarah mix kar ke 5-6 minutes dum per rakh den. - Koila ka dum dene keliye - Koile ke tukre ko sulgayen. - Ek pyaz kay tukray ko Karhai ke darmiyan main rakhay aur jalta hua koila us kay upper rakhden. - koilay per 2-3 drops tail dalen aur foran dhak dain. - 5-7 min tak koila ka dum lagayen aur phir pyaz aur koila nikal kar phenk den. - Akhir main adrak aur hari mirch say sajayen - Mazedaar Koila karhai tayar.

Chicken White Karahi Recipe in English: Ingredients: • Oil 3-4 tbs • Ginger garlic ½ tbs • Green chili paste 4-6 • Chicken ½ kg • Salt 1 tsp or to taste • Yogurt 3/4 cup • Black pepper 1 tsp • Cumin 1 tsp • Coriander 1 tsp • Ginger (julienne cut) 2 inch piece or as preferred • Garam masala ½ tsp • Tetra pack cream 4 tbs • Green chili 2-3 • Lemon juice 1 tbs (optional) Directions: • Heat oil in a wok, add chicken and fry until it turns golden. • Add ginger garlic paste, green chili paste and salt. • Cook for 6-8 mins on medium flame. • In bowl, add yogurt, black pepper, roasted and crushed cumin and coriander crushed and mix well. • Add yogurt in chicken and mix well. • Cook for 6-8 mins or until yogurt water dries out and chicken is tender. • You can add 1-2 tsb water if required. • Add ginger (julienne cut), garam masala lemon juice, and Tetra pack cream 4 tbs - cook for few mins. • White chicken karahi is ready to serve with roti chapati or naan. Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: • Oil 3-4 tbs • Adrak lehsan ½ tbs • Hari mirchi paste 4-6 • Chicken ½ kg • Namak 1 tsp or to taste • Dahi 3/4 cup • Kuti kali mirch 1 tsp • Bhuna kuta zeera 1 tsp • Bhuna kutra dhania 1 tsp • Adrak • Garam masala ½ tsp • Tetrapak cream 4 tbs • Hari mirch 2-3 • Lemon juice 1 tbs (optional) Bananey ka Tareeka: • Aik karahi mein tail garam kareen aur us me chicken daleen aur pakaeen . • us mein adrak lehsan ka paste, hari mirch ka paste aur namak milaeen. • 6-8 mins ke liye dheemi anch par pakaeen . • Aik pyala leen, dahi, kali mirch, zeera kuta howa, dhaniya kuta howa daleen aur sahi se milaeen. • Dahi ko chicken main shamil karain. • 6-8 mins ke liye pakaeen jub tak dahi ka pani sukh jaee aur chicken gal jaee. • 1-2 tbs pani bhi shamil karsakte hai. • Adrak (juliene cut), garam masala, leemo ka rass, aur Tetra pack cream daleen aur thori dair ke liye pakaeen . • White chicken karahai tayyar hai aur isse roti, naan aur chapatti ke sath khaya ja sakta hai.
